Popular actress, Toyosi Adesanya on escaped death by the whiskers as armed herdsmen suspected to be Fulani attacked her and other motorists on the ever busy Omuaran-Ilorin Expressway on Sunday evening.
The actress who was on her way to Ilorin for a movie production said the rather smooth journey was halted when some Fulani herdsmen suddenly got into the middle of the road and started shooting sporadically and in the process claimed the life of one of her Personal Assistants identified as Juwon.
The visibly shocked Nollywood actress called on the Federal Government to intensify efforts in ensuring that the security of lives and property is given utmost priority.
“We cant continue like this. The poor boy’s life was just taken away like that. We cant continue to be held to ransom by some armed bandits. The Federal Government should come to our aid”, she said.
Meanwhile, News Hub Mag! gathered that the remains of the deceased has been deposited at an undisclosed hospital in Ilorin.
