When Lawmaker pays school fees of 242 pupils of his alma mater

The member representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Owolabi Olatunde Rasaq has paid a surprise visit to Muslim Community Primary School, Share.

Hon. Owolabi who is an alumni of Muslim Community Primary School Share visited the school unannounced and paid the fees of the 242 pupils.

A the pupils on the reason for the august visit, Hon. Owolabi took the students down memory lane of how the school was in those days stressing that he had come to identify with them.

In his words, “I am here today to identify with you all because I am an Alumni of this great school, I finished from this school in the year 1989. Am also here at the same time to give back to my source (Muslim Community Primary School Share) because I dim it fit to do so because what this school gave to me is unquantifiable.”

The lawmaker who charged the students to be good ambassadors of the school likewise appreciated the teachers of the school for their commitment and support for the students.

The Headmistress of the school, Alhaja Mrs B. F Muhammed expressed joy on the visit, and prayed for a successful tenure of office for him.

“I charge you all to be good ambassadors of this school, shun social vices and make the school proud.”

News Hub Mag! reports that she later took Hon. Owolabi round the classes to see the deplorable conditions of some of the classrooms and encouraged him to use his influence to do something quick to repair the classroom buildings before they finally collapse.
