Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, OBE is a Nigerian British professional boxer. He is a two-time unified heavyweight champion, having held the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles since December 2019 and previously between 2016 and June 2019. Anthony who faced Andy Ruiz at the Maddison Square in United State of America on the 1st of June 2019, in a clash that saw him beaten by Ruiz, had staged a comeback big time,

In a last minute arrangement after heavyweight Jarrell Miller, was replaced by Ruiz Jr. after Miller failed three drug tests. In a shocking upset, Andy Ruiz, won the match via technical knockout in the seventh round, ending Joshua’s undefeated record and becoming the new unified heavyweight champion of the world.

Because of a contractual clause, Anthony would have to face Ruiz again in a rematch billed for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Al-Turaif, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 7th December 2019, exactly six month and six days after the first clash.

Joshua won the second clash, claiming back all his lost titles and also considering a trilogy rematch possibly.
