School Resumption: Commissioner cautions teachers against indolence

The Honourable Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Fatimoh Bisola Ahmed has cautioned teachers in the state against indolence as primary and secondary schools resumes for the 2019/2020 academic session which is the second term academic session, today.

A press release signed by the Press Secretary of the ministry, Mr. Yakub Aliagan and made available to News Hub Mag! said the Honorable Commissioner dropped this warning today during an unscheduled inspection of schools in Ilorin and its environs.

While commending the level of turn out of students and teachers as very impressive and encouraging, she urged them to keep it up

The commissioner further appealed to the teachers to be dedicated to their duties and also redouble their efforts this term to ensure a good performance of students in the forthcoming examinations.

Hajia Ahmed also assured them that the present administration will continue to give priority to the welfare of teachers and create an enabling environment to aid teaching and learning.

The commissioner advised students to be focused in their academic pursuit and always strive to be among the best in the country.
