A Christian group, Christian to Christan Network (CCN) has decried the shutting down of worship centers across the global.
In a press release signed by the Convener of the network, Pastor Ifeanyi Odili a copy of which was made available to News Hub Mag! the group described the move as suicidal and urged relevant authorities to reconsider.

COVID 19: SHUTTING WORSHIP CENTERS, A GLOBAL SUICIDE MISSION
Christian to Christian Network CCN, wishes to call on world leaders not to allow themselves to be used by the Ruler of this world, Satan. The CCN describes the recently discovered Covid 19 as a whole spirit, a demon which is one of the agents of fallen angels which we must not allow to thrive in whatever way.
Many centuries back, it has not been recorded that worship centers all over the world were shut down for an unseen demon. The world over, when a nation is plagued with any form of disaster, such as sudden death, mysterious diseases such as small pox, they turn to God. When the Jews were plagued by God, they first acknowledge their sin, repented of it and
asked for forgiveness thereafter the priest, made sacrifices and atonements to God inside the temple of God. See Numbers 21:4-8.
It is therefore a global suicide mission to shut down all worship centers across the world by the world leaders.
Closure of churches is a direct invitation to the ruler of this world, Satan to unleash
pains, agony on the people of God. It is also an open invitation to God’s wrath, because, the only One to run to for help in a situation
like this is God. And you cannot shut his worship centers and expect Him to heal the land and vacate the plague.
The Church cannot shut God out of its troubles, because doing so, you are telling God to keep off your problems, that you are capable of solving the problem yourself.
It is unbiblical and unscriptural, the Bible says in 2 Chronicles 13-15 ‘13 “If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the
locust to devour the land, or if I send a plague among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 15Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”
Corona virus pandemic is a clear manifestation of God’s anger upon this world. And the only way out of this spiritual logjam is to turn to God for help having repented of our sins.
The CCN disagrees with the FG to shut down churches leaving market open because that is not the solution. The Government should endeavor to provide equipment for precautionary measure for all the worship centers while worships continue. A disease that defiles biological and scientific solution by international communities can only be solved by God through collective prayers and not individual prayers.
The CCN therefore, advises the FGN to lift ban on worship centers and allow people to jointly pray to their God who does not forsake His own people that He may heal our land.
