“This pandemic has affected us negatively, especially we entrepreneurs, I have personally lost over 8million naira due to this lockdown. While we understand the need for this lockdown government must also live up to expectations.

“Apart from the much-needed palliatives for our people, Government must use this period as an eye opener to revamp our health sector. We need to declare a state of emergency in the health sector and this is non-negotiable.

“The outbreak of coronavirus has further reminded us of the abysmally state of our healthcare sector and our leaders will be doing a great service to this country if they declare a state of emergency in our healthcare sector.”

Speaking further, the entrepreneur who deals in farm produce lamented that if care is not taken the negative impact of the novel coronavirus will seriously affect the agricultural sector and called on governments on all levels to make provisions for farmers to ensure they don’t miss the planting season.
